The Tundra 65 Cooler, known as the original YETI Tundra, was where it all began. This cooler was our first creation, born out of frustration with cheap coolers that couldn't keep up. We decided to over-engineer the Tundra to create a cooler that could withstand anything and keep ice for days. This innovation led to a new category of coolers known for their toughness and ice retention.

The Tundra comes in various sizes to fit any outdoor adventure, and its DNA can be seen in all the gear we produce. The NeverFail Hinge System ensures durability with two hinge pins and an interlocking design that prevents breakage. The T-Rex Lid Latches are designed to be heavy-duty rubber, so you won't ever have to deal with a broken latch again. The FatWall Design, certified Bear-Resistant, includes extra-thick walls with up to three inches of insulation for unparalleled ice retention.

The ColdLock Gasket creates a seal to lock in the cold and keep out the heat, while the LipGrip and DoubleHaul Handles make carrying the cooler a breeze. The rotomolded construction makes the Tundra virtually indestructible, and the BearFoot Non-Slip Feet keep it in place. The Vortex Drain System ensures easy draining, and the PermaFrost Insulation maintains ice for days.
